What is CrossFit?
CrossFit is a strength and conditioning program consisting of gymnastic, weightlifting and cardio created by Greg Glassman. He believed that the human body needs to be prepared for anything life might throw at it. This concept is called General Physical Preparedness or specializing in not specializing.
Utilizes functional movements or movements patterns that are found in everyday life, such a squat (standing up from a chair) or a deadlift (picking an item off the floor) or a press (lifting an object overhead).
